The questions we get asked.
Straight answers on tint, wraps, PPF, and ExoShield. If yours is not here, the studio will answer it directly.
How long does tint, a wrap, PPF, or ExoShield take?
Tint on a typical car is a day. ExoShield is a half-day to a day. Full-front PPF is one to two days; full-body PPF and full colour-change wraps run several days because the prep and the edges cannot be rushed. We give you a real timeline at consultation, not a number that sounds good.
Can window tint be removed?
Yes. Tint is removable. Quality film comes off cleanly when it is taken out properly; cheap film that has baked on for years is the one that fights you. We remove and re-tint regularly.
Is paint protection film visible?
Gloss PPF is near-invisible on a glossy car when the edges are tucked into panel gaps rather than left on a flat face. Matte PPF intentionally changes a gloss finish to satin. Where the edges land is the whole game, and that is where the hand work goes.
Does ExoShield affect visibility or my car's sensors?
No. ExoShield is optically clear, so visibility is unchanged day and night, and it does not interfere with wipers. On ADAS-equipped vehicles it protects the existing glass, which helps you avoid a windshield swap and the sensor recalibration bill that comes with it.
Will a wrap damage my paint?
A properly installed and properly removed wrap protects the paint underneath and comes off clean. The risk is never the film, it is the removal: factory paint in good condition is fine, while paint that was already failing or has had cheap respray work can lift. We assess that before we start.
What about legal tint limits?
Visible-light-transmittance limits vary by region and by which window. We advise on the legal limits where you drive and tint to a level you will not get pulled over for. A ticket is not a finish.
How long before I can wash the car?
For tint, leave the glass alone for about a week while the film cures. For PPF and wraps, give the install a few days before a wash and then hand wash, avoiding direct pressure on edges and seams. We hand you specific aftercare with the warranty.
Do you do fleet and commercial work?
Yes. We print, cut, and lay commercial branding and fleet wraps, and we handle protection packages for vehicles that work for a living. Talk to us about volume and turnaround.
What is the difference between partial and full coverage?
On PPF, a partial front covers the leading edges that catch most chips, while a full front or full-body covers more panels for cars that see more road. On tint and wraps, we scope coverage to what you actually want and drive. We will lay out the options at consultation.
Do you work on new vehicles before delivery?
Yes, and it is the best time to do it. Protecting paint and glass before the first highway drive means the finish you are protecting is still factory-perfect. New-vehicle owners are a large part of what we do.
Do I need both PPF and ceramic, or tint and a wrap?
It depends on the goal. PPF and ExoShield defend the surfaces that take damage; tint handles comfort and privacy; a wrap is for a finish that is yours. We protect first, then personalize, and we will tell you what is worth it for your car rather than selling the whole stack by default.
How do I book?
Book a consultation through the contact form or by phone. Tell us the vehicle and what you are after, and we will give you honest guidance and a real quote. A quote request is the same form with the service preselected.
